ORAL PRESENTATION

The day I had to present my presentation with my friend Aida, about Coco Chanel I was very nervous. 

Now, I've seen the video and I can say I'm very slowly speaking and it seems if I didn't study although I studied a lot. During the presentation I often say words in Catalan like "ai!" and I mustn’t say that. The most important thing I've seen is when I said something wrong instantly I corrected it, it's good that I found the error but I think I couldn't make this errors. One time I said: "she wanted became the more famous..." and instantly I said "she wanted became the most famous..." this is important. 

Obviously I think in the next presentation I should be less nervous but at the time of present it I'll become more nervous.

REBEL SONG

This song is about love. It starts saying he would be back to her to speak with the girl. After that it says that now they are apart and compare this relation with the science, that is in progress and it's running in cercles. The target of the song is say that he wants to be like the start of the relation. This song is 'too old' for the moment but I like it, it's really relaxing and I usually listen to this type of music because I'm very nervous. It helps me to relax and to say, 'OK I have to follow living my life' when I'm not good.

MY FAVOURITE FILM

Harry Potter is my favorite film. It’s about a boy, Harry who survives from an attack of the worst magician of the world of the magician people. His friends are Ron and Hermione. They are students of the most important school of magician and they always live trough their experiences. Harry always has problems with the worst magician, who made a scar on his face, and when he’s approaching to him the scar burn and Harry knows he’s next to him.

I’ve seen all the movies of Harry Potter and I wished J.K.Rowlings follow this books and films, but she’s going to present new books of magician people but not about Harry. Usually, I like movies which are real but when I saw Harry Potter I discovered different likes on me. Maybe it’s because I saw it with all my family and we could comment it during the film and spent a good time eating pop corn together.

 

NEWS

1)      POLONIA IS LOOKING FOR A NAZI'S TRAIN

     During the end of the Second World War, the Nazis hid a train of 100 meters length between Wroclaw and Walbrzych, and people say into that train they hid a lot of gold, jewels and expensive artworks.

One day two neighbors confirmed they found this train and the government decided sent part of the army to look for the train. The last news they published it’s that the vice president tell us that he was 99% convinced the train was there.

In my opinion, this is an important news because it can be a problem between some countries for the money and if they publish that they thought the train was there, they have to inform if they found it or not. But, obviously they aren’t interested in publish it.

2)      

In this photo we can see that people are getting wet in a park where there are a lot of fountains. There are adults and children, families who are happy and they enjoy this time. Wealthy people can order to make a swimming pool in their house but there are a lot of people who can’t afford it so they have to go in the parks. Although it doesn’t mean that they have to be less happy, they can be happier than rich people.

This photo show that this year had became the hottest year. Our societies are more polluted so we are getting bigger the global warming.

I think we must control the business because we live in the world and we have to take care of it.

3)       SHARK FEEDING FRENZY

This video seems it’s a scene of a horror movie was  recording in the beach Panama City, Florida this weekend. Maybe a family, because there are children in a  boat, was in the beach and suddenly appears like fifty or sixty sharks splashing. People were surprised and they say that it’s the craziest thing they’ve ever seen. In the video there’s a man trying to push it out of the water.

I think when something like that happens you should going out of the water because maybe the sharks were eating fish and if they see you around them, they can bite you. Also you have to call the police to advise what’s happening and if I was there I’ll stay recording and watching this scene because, like that people who has seen it, I think it can be the most creasiest thing you can ever see.

MY-SAY

There I have some space to express my opinion about something I’m interesting in or something I want to comment.

                              

1)      Nowadays, our society is based on the technology gadgets. In my house, for example, we used to watch the TV together, next to the fireplace, like the happy family we are. One day, suddenly, something turned off the lights and it means that we couldn’t watch the TV, so we decided playing a game. We realized these times, next to your family, speaking and laughing, were funnier than spent time in front of the gadget.

I hope all families realized the importance of the communication and if they don’t have it, they should change on their routine.

2)      People buy; they buy a lot, things like clothes all the year depending on the weather…

Everybody, and the people who don’t do that, in my opinion, is very selfish, thinks and ask how the international business make all these clothes. Obviously they answer themselves saying ‘there are big machines which make the clothes, now, people shouldn’t do it’ but anybody knows that these biggest shops have people from other countries making it in their zone.  

3)      Two years ago, the government decided developing the new technology into high schools, books and papers mustn’t be accepted, they used to use laptops.

In my opinion is the worst rule they could put. Teenagers use the technology out of the school and if they have to use it during they are studying they’ll become crazy. Luckily, some people weren’t agreed with this new rule and they had to retired it.

4)      A lot of people say that coffee isn’t good for us. Why do they look for the worst things of this drink?

We all know that a cup of coffee helps to wake you up in the morning, and they say that it cause the sleeplessness, keep you awake at night. This drink prevents some illnesses like diabetes and Parkinson’s disease. Above all, experts say that we can drink safely three cups of coffee during the day, although these people say it can make you feel anxious.

5)      The athletic people, according to a psychologist, can improve their exercising by 15% if they’re listening music. In my opinion we can calls music like a drug to the athletics but it’s legal, you can see all the people who are running in the city with their headphones in their ears, because it makes you feel less pain and makes you an exercise session less boring and more enjoyable than it is without music. My experience is, when I’m running with music I beat my previous personal results.

6)      I think everyone wants to be happy because it’s the most important feeling we can feel but everybody has their own way to became happy. Some people say that happiness means finding a real bargain in the sales, for other people is eating delicious food, listening your favorite music, sitting on the sofa on winter next to the fireplace, going holiday, getting on the scales and discover that you’re lost a kilo or win it, help the people… It proves that everyone is different and special.

PRESENTATION

Hi! 

My name is Eva and I'm sixteen years old. I've lived in Castelló d'Empúries since 2000, so I'm studying First of batxillerat here. Although I don't know what I'll study, I'm doing this course about science (numbers) because if I don't like it I can go back and choose the letters one. 

When I was little I studied music and I learnt to play the violin but after six years, more or less, I decided to stop playing it. Now, I'm studying music again and I play the piano. 

In a future I'm going to travel a lot with my friends because I love learning different cultures and spending time discovering new adventures. Actually, I've promised to my best friend some trips: in summer we'll go to Brazil, on Christmas we'll go to Canada...

2. Are you on holidays or are you living here? Yes.

3. If you are on holidays how many days will you spend here? And if you are livinig here, when did you come? I'll stay here for six days.

4. Did you come by plane, by car...? By plane.

5. Why did you come to Barcelona? To travel around the world.

6. What have you been doing here? Sighseeing the most important monuments.

7. What is the place that you have enjoyed the most? Gracia's neighbourhood and Sagrada Familia.

8. What is the food that you have enjoyed the most, from here obiously? The paella's rise.

9. Where are you hosted, in a hotel, in a aparthotel, in autocaravan, in your house...? In a hostel.

10. Do you think it's a good place?(BCN) Yes,of couse.

11. In your opinion, what is the worst thing of Barcelona? It's very busy.

12. Do you know what is happening in Catalonia and Spain? And what is your opinion about that? Yes, a little.

15. How do you get around the city? Underground, bus, car... By underground.

THE RABBIT FAMILY

THE RABBIT FAMILY

The rabbit family was having tea on a beautiful Saturday morning. The rabbit's father was taking the children to school by bike. At the school, the children learned to dance the typical song in Catalonia, "la sardana".

Then, the whole family was in the garden picking vegetables to eat. Jack, the child of this family of rabbits, stopped picking vegetables when he saw a flower and he played with it. He asked the flower if the girl that he liked, her loved him or not, but a bull appeared in front of him and he was surprised and frightened. Suddenly a little rabbit with wings appeared on the garden to give a surprise to Jack.

This little rabbit brought a pot of bubbles to spend a great moment together, after that they decided to do sport and to skip. They got fit and lose 2 kilograms!!

Jack wanted to watch the stars and he was very funny because he would like to be an astronaut.

After that, Jack arrived home and his father washed him because he was sweaty.

They did the dinner with their pets, the mice. Then, he listened music in his beautiful room. 

ITALY

ITALY

We decided to go to Italy to spend our last holidays in group of the highschool. On Sunday 22  of march we arrived in Bologna and we lunch there. After that we took the bus to Pisa and we visited the most important buildings of this city. The next day we went to Firenze and we visited, again, the most important buildings of the city and we had a lot of free time to go shopping and to lunch, and the next day we moved to Roma and there we visited the Colisseum, the Vatican city and we spend some hours visiting the centre. The last night, for me, was the best night of this trip because we spent all the time at the party of the boat. I really like this trip!!

MY WEEKEND

One day ago I was spending the best days of the week, the weekend. Normally in the weekend I meet with my friends or my family to speak and see them. This weekend I wanted to be relaxed because the last week of school we had a lot of exams and I couldn't sleep like I wanted, so I decided to spend all Friday in my house watching the televison and finishing my homework. On Saturday I went to Girona by car with two friends but I didn't buy too much, only two trousers that I needed. Finally, on Sunday, I met with one of the most important people for  me and we decided to go to Santa Margarita by our bicycle. When we were going out of my house it starts to rain and we had to stayed at home. 

I spent a great time with my friends and I slept too much!!!

DESCRIPTION
