Dear Mr. president Rajoy,
I am writing to you to express and stand out all complainments of human rights violation I've recived since I was little.

Firstly, I would like to show the meaning of human rights according to ONU: "Human rights are those rights everyone has for the simple fact of being and they must be respected".

The sixth right orders legal recognition and equality in front of the country law but we all know that's not true. Nowadays the majority of politicians are stealing money from population but law is not trying them for that.

Secondly, there is a human rights which orders freedom of expression and months ago a girl was tried because she had done a satirical comment about an ancient dictator.

Finally, there is a right saying that all people has the liberty to democratic participation but the entire world has contempleted that Spain doesn't follow this right. Catalonia is asking for general elections but it seems very difficult to take that dream into reality.

HOW THE USE OF INTERNET HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES

It is a well-known fact that the Intenet has changed our lives, since it was discoverd. Although is has affected different aspects of people's routine, the impact of internet on education has been the hardest one, in my point of view. 

Before the Internet, students used to spend their time reading long and boring books from the library to pass the exams but nowadays teenagers don't have to move their bodies, they can search information while they are sitting on the sofa! On one hand it is a good mechanism because you can learn anything you are interested in but, on the other one there is plenty of information and no one knows if it is all correct. It seems cool, for the government, to change books for laptops, but I peronsally think they aren't conscious of the role of education because following their thoughts, students are getting distracted from their priority; they are using video games at class instead of listening the teacher.

THE EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN YOUR COUNTRY

It is often claimed that Earth's climate is changing quicker. Pollution is increasing and its consequences are appearing in the societies. High temperatures are hitting the freeze water of the extremes of the world and consequently it will cause an animal extinction, it is because we are creating particles which absorb the world's radiation and it doesn't let them go out of the planet. The goverment has the power to solve this problem, because it controls advertising, but it wouldn't do it for fear of losing money, which is the most important topic, according to it. Pertoil is an economical source and it is not interesting to shop or get down its sold out. One such example to decrise pollution is forbiding the use of particular cars or asking the population to take the public transport but doing it means to slash princes of thic vehicle.

I AM ON ERASMUS AND I MUST TALK ABOUT CATALAN CULTURE

Since I was little I've been living in Spain, specifically in Catalonia, and it means that I've always done all subjects in school, except English and French, in Catalan or Spanish. Nowadays, considering my high level of both official languages in Catalonia. I can write a comparation between them and prove their similar aspects because of their latin roots. 

The most surprising fact in the "catalan state" (I hope it will be independent) in is our particular traditions and parties, as some as our gastronomy.

We usually celebrate Sant Jordi's, which is a catalan celebrity and people who are in love give presents to each other.

ARE WE TOO DEPENDENT OF MOBILE PHONE?

A problem that is often a point of dealing with is the addiction, for the great majority of teenagers, to mobile phones. 

The successful launching of the first smartphone had increased the longing of people and everyone wanted to have one. The first function of this device is called, but is having lots of applications that allows you to achieve your goals, as a result of their intelligence, people, specifically teenagers, want to get this electrical device as soon as possible. On the one hand, it is good because you can find all kinds of information, but in the other one, people are hanging more private information and are getting addicted and that is why they are setting some aspects of their lives apart. Let me exemplify this concept by the situation of a teenager who wastes time on the mobile phone in contrast to study. 

In conclusion, I think there isn't a problem of the high consumption of technology but everyone must be able to decide when should use it or not.

IS MARRIAGE IN CRISIS?

Dear Mr or Ms editor, 

for hundreds and hundreds of years, people have been able to get divorced even if it was for a violent reason. That ridiculous law was established by the church and anyone knows exactly why can it be because one God has accepted your marriage, it has trusted on you, you can't get him down?

Although Spain has been later than other countries in the aspect of evolution, finally democracy has accepted divorce. 

It is an obvious fact that relationships can break up because something is wrong. For that reason, I think that in every step of history, people wants to get divorced but the church doesn't want it.

EDUCATION SYSTEM AND THE STUDY OF HABITS

Dear family, 

since I've arrived here I realised that there are several differences from our education system and Catalonia's one. It shouldn't mean that one of them is better than the other but in that case, it is.

Education system in Spain is based on the idea of trying to pass selectivity, which is an exam that all students must do if they want to apply in university. If you have a bad day and you don't pass it, you won't be able to turn your dream, of going to university, into reality.

Another trouble comes from the idea of having subjects in common in all batxillerats. For example, scientist people, who loves numbers, must do philosophy exams because they consider that culture, but humanistic people don't have any idea of how our body works.

In China, luckily, it is very different and people do what they want to do. Apart from that, it is all very good. Barcelona is a beautiful and enjoyable city.

SUMMER

Summer is in the corner so one of the first problems about that is the sun. Spending a long time in the sun is dangerous and can give skin cancer. But in the other hand, not spending enough time in the sun is bad for you, because to create vitamin D you need sunlight. This vitamin is important for strong bones and a healthy immune system, and scientists say that it also makes people feel happier.

So, my conclusion, is that if you want to be tanner, you have to sunbath with precaution but spending a few minutes in the sun without it, it's also good for your health and your happiness

FASHION MATTERS

How important is fashion to you?

It is universally acknowledge that even if we say they don't, first impressions matters but there are different points of view about that. 

For the great majority of people fashion is more important than it shoud be, they tink we have to pay more attention to family, friends and studies than we do because we are obsessed about clothes or beauty. They maintain that fashion is just a waste of time making yourself being better while putting others down.

Others thoughts are that fashion is one of the most important topics in our society because if you're fashion means that you're cool and you would make more friends than you have, not only in the real life but also in virtual life (websites).

I feel strongly that we must take care about our appearence, obiously, but fashion is important until a limit. Nowadays there are a lot of young people, especially girls, going mad about clothes and that's not bad at all, but related to clothes and fashion there's beauty. To publicize clothes business use the image of young, pretty and thin woman and it makes adolescents dream with that body and that's the point which we don't have a fashion trouble, we have a really important health problem.

A HEALTHIER LIFE

For the great majority of people it is usual to go to the supermarket once or maybe twice a week. Although supermarkets in my town are almost the same I know a lot of people who buy in different shops of food, for different reasons: because they like something specific from a supermarket, because most things are cheaper... But I really know a few people who choose the food of their own orchard and not for a money issue, it is because they seriously doubt about the source and the composition from food.

Food is plenty of preservative, products to get a better presentation about fruit and vegetables... Days ago I watched a documental about products in food and they explain that a chicken breed in a farm contains an average of 12 vaccines from different diseases.

IS JEALOUSY NATURAL?

Joalousy is a common feeling especially between people who are in love. When you fall in love with someone you don't want to spend time with other people but you only want to stay with your "darling". At the point you observe that there is someone who also wants to share experiences with your love, your humour starts changing and it develops jealousy. 

From my point of view I think everyone had been into this situation although you hadn't been in love; because you can develop jealousy in every step of life and even for friends.  

Every single human wants to be the best so everyone wants to get the best and this create a competitive role in society, even if it mens to step on people. I really don't know if being jealous is or not good for human health and security but I can only confirm that jealousy exists.

Related to love there's happiness, as I has said, so in conclusion we love because we want happiness and there's no better way to be glad than beig next to people you love.

STORM STELLA

 NEWS

Snow has been piling up in parts of United States as a huge winter storm called "Stella" and it brings blizzards and disrumption in several states. 

In Washington the streets were blanketed of snow, schools were closed and traffic became jummed up. New York has also suffered from this consequences with icy rain and strong gusts of wind. 

Governor Andrew Cuomo said the consequences hadn't been as bas as they were going to be but some stats had experienced blizzard conditions. He also said that mother nature is sometimes unpredictable. 

The National Weather Service warned that 50 million of people from Pennyslavia might be affected. For this reason thousand flights across the country were deleted and a lot of people happened his vacations in the airport.

Fortunately this storm is near its end.

SPIDER'S STUDY

 NEWS

A team of scientists found that predatory spiders eat an estimated 400 to 800 tones of prey per year. This number is at least equal or double what all humans eat of fish and meat during a year. Their apettities are even larger than sea mammals, which eat 280 to 500 million of prey anually.

The majority spider species (which are around 45.000) eat insects or collembola, also known as springtails. According to a researcher from the University of Basel, at this point, it is a well-known fact that the arachnids are the most dangerous enemies against insects, next to ants and birds; they help to reduce the quantity of insects.And he also said spiders are helpful because they have an essential contribution to mantaining the ecological balance of nature.

Scientists hope this news will become a surprising fact for population and it helps to increase the people appreciation for spiders.

Happiness is a way of living and I there's no better method yo spend good time next to the person you love. In my case, my favourite soulmate is my boyfriend Alex. We met one year agobecause of a common friend.
Physically he is tall and thin and he has a well-buit constitution. He has a tanned skin, which I love, and small borwn eyes. He is a little bit shy but he's also a reliable boy and if you need something he will do whatever he could to give it to you, if you get on well, obvioulsy. 
His perspective of life is simple and joyful because he's always happy and he usually laughs a lot, and he doesn't worry for the things more than it's necessary.

Shall boys have the same “good manners” than before?

When you are knowing a man you will watch over everything he do but when you have to present him to your family it’s an interrogation. Especially our grandmothers pay attention on his manners with you; if he pays for the meal in the first date, if he waits for you to go through the door first, if he accompanies you at home…

Unfortunately a lot of this manners are very sexist and I think it counts a lot in a relationship. For example, why does the man pay for the meal?  Maybe because years ago men have a job while the women were at home, looking for the children. Now, and in the past too, women are more than a simple babysitting, we have a job and we can pay for the meal, we don’t need a boy to do this.

BACTERIA AND ANTIBIOTICS

I decided to work on bacteria and antibiotics because since 1928, when Alexander Fleming accidentally discovered penicillin, these medicines became very common and increased the life expectancy of the population. Despite their therapeutic properties they can damage our organism if we don't take care with them. 

For this reason my objectives were to get informed about the mechanisms that antibiotics use against bacteria and bacteria resistance to antibiotics, because bacteria can also develop mechanisms to avoid the effect of the substance. I also wanted to check out the antimicrobial action of expired and non-expired antibiotics and compare them.

DIALOGUE

- OMG! Have you seen my big nose on this photo? Why it has to be always on the foreground?

-You're stupid! Your nose is quite beautiful. I mean, it's a simple nose, it isn't bigger than the others.

- I really have to do something with it.. I have been thinking about get a surgery. 

-You're crazy! I think your face is beautiful and maybe if you get an operation your nose become uglier, and I don't knew if you have money enough to pay for it.
I've been thinking about getting a credit from the bank.

-You're fucking mad. Even if they accept to lend you this amount of money, how could you get it back? However, if you get serurgy you will never change the fact that you're not natural. It's like getting a tattoo, it is forever!

-I want to get a surgery anyway! It's my life and if you're my best friend you must accept it. It's not about what people think, it's about feeling comfortable with myself. I know it's a big step, but it's my decision and nothing could change that!
